Tyson chicken scare

Hi there, fellow bloggers.Sorry it has been sooooo long.I have had a lot of studying to do and been working on projects. Now I am bursting with new and exciting information to share with you all.I wont be posting all of it today of course but will be breaking it up incategories.I will try to include some healthy recipes with each post.I have been working on gluten-free recipes and vegetarian recipes that will still supply your protein needs.Today I want to put awareness out on factory farming andTyson specifically.Tyson is by far not the only one involved in these inhumane, filthy practices but they are guilty of false advertising and deception. They promote their meat as being raised without antibiotics but don,t tell you that they inject them full of antibiotics before they are hatched. The dangers of antibiotic meat is that we have stronger strains of bacteria being created that are becoming antibiotic resistant and at the same time causing fungus and candida to grow in our bodies.Did you know that fungus is the major cause of cancer and autism. It can grow around our organs and mutate our DNA.It is nothing to mess around with.In future posts I will be talking more on how to get rid of the underlying candida in our systems and what to do about it.Back to factory farming. It is very unethical and inhumane on how they treat these animals. The tyson chickens sit in a cage with no beaks and no wings in their poop laying eggs.Do we want to be a part of that. The bible has very clear standards on humane butchering practices and these factory farms are sometimes butchering these animals befor they are dead. Then wew put out a bunch of pain hormones in their blood and when we eat the meat we get these pain hormones as well, hence the chronic pain conditions in our country.Chickens are usually strung up and mechanicall butchered with guts being ripped out and feces flying everwhere and with the speed this is happening they do not get cleaned off well enough. How much e.coli problems have we faced already.I have watched some actual videos of this cruel treatment and have come upon a few conclusions. The main reasonswe face some of these issues is consumer demand and largely fast food resteraunts. What can we do?Spread the word for one, decrease our meat consumption, definately decrease our fast food consumption and most importantly support your local farmers. The farmers are the forgotten heroes in our country.Instead of buying from these big corporations ,go to your local farmer and farmers market. There are a lot out there if you look. And don't tell me you can't afford it.YES you can .I guarantee that pound for pound you are going to pay a lot less than you would for meat at Mcdonalds. It is all in the priorities.Plus we don't have to eat the large amount of meat that we think we do.Start cooking more beans or better yet quinoa or,millet. These two gluten free seeds are loaded with protein and calcium and are 2 of the most complete foods there are .Also sunflower seeds are complete in all the essential amino acids as is flax meal.I will be sharing many wonderful recipes on making everything from cheese to milk with these low cost superstars. We need to retrain our thinking to live a healthy life and spare our children from a generation of diseaes. It is time to stop the madness and live beyond the cravings.God gave us self-control and He will help if you ask Him .He is the source for all we need.http://www.naturalnews.com/024756.htmlhttp://v.mercola.com/blogs/public_blog/You-Need-to-Know-This-If-You-Eat-Tyson-Chicken-72184.aspx Here are some links so you can check out some of this information.http://drbenkim.com/eating-mercifully-documentary.htm This last one is a video that shows a few things as well. Also dr.don colberts book on a bible diet gives a lot of information.I don't want to leave without sharing a recipe so I will give you this awesome gluten-free banana bread and gluten-free low carb chocalate cake .
Gluten-free banana bread
4 ripe bananas,2 eggs,3/4 cup xlitol, or sucanat
1 cup rapadura or all xylitol or sucanat
sprinkle of stevia,1/2 cup melted butter or olive oil ,2 cups coconut ,almond or soy milk
1 tsp vanilla ,1 cup arrowroot powder[you could also use cornstarch or potato starch]
1 cup almond meal,1/2 cup flax meal,4 tsp baking powder,2 tsp guar gum,1/2 tsp baking soda, pinch salt
GLUTEN-FREE CHOCOLATE CAKE[low carb]
2 cup flax meal1 cup almond meal1 tsp baking soda,1 tsp baking powder ,5 eggs
3 tbsps sour cream,1/4 cup cocoa ,1 tsp vanilla

drizzle a little bittersweet chocolate on top if you would like
Well I hope you enjoy the recipes and that todays post makes you think.Pray about it .gOD ALWAYS GIVES ME CLARITY ON THESE CONTROVERIAL ISSUES WHEN I AM NOT SURE WHICH WAY TO GO.I know He will do the same for you.God bless

healthy coconut macaroons and body ecology

Hi all.How is the week going?I hope good. Not to bad here.We are trying to get ready for school. The kids go from really excited to scared. They will be going to a new school this year as last years experience was rough. But the school that we have chosen has a good rep from dependable sources,so I think it will be okay.Me and the kids have been taking daily walks this week to enjoy the beautiful weather that God has given us.God has been so good lately and showing us that He is there, even in the little things.I know we can always relax and know that God has our lives and our childrens lives in His control.I am also thankful to God for helping me stick to the Body Ecology diet for the most part. That is a diet to heal the gut and immune system and irradicate candida. It incorporates a lot of probiotic foods and drinks and eliminates all forms of sugars for a while. You can have vsome granny smith apples, berries, stevia and some sweet vegetables.Only gluten free grains arre allowed,as we are trying to get rid of allergies as well and you eat 75% vegetables with each meal.It was kind of hard to stick to it this week as I was PMS ing and really had sugar cravings. But a few green apples and 1 slice canteloupe was all I ate so Iknow God was helping me,because Ihave never been able to go without sweets before for this long and the cravings are lessening. At first my anxiety increased from letting go of the comfort foods so I made some stevia, almond butter bars and a little piece of that helps too. Also an occasianal piece of bittersweet dark chocolate. Now I think I have less anxiety than I did before so am hoping this might get me off my medication for good.Kefir does increase your serotonin and that is one of the key things on the diet as well. Now the recipe for the macaroons wouldn,t be allowed because they are to sweet but are still a healthy dessert for those who aren't on a candida diet.Maybe I'll find a way to make them candida friendly and post that next time.DID YOU KNOW THAT COCONUT WATER IS SO HEALTHY THAT THEY USED to give wounded soldiers IV,s with coconut water for transfusions because vbthey didn't have enough blood for transfusions and coconut water is almost identical to human blood plasma .That is why it is so good for the immune system and energy. We make kefir with ours because it gets rid of the sugar in it and the kids like it because it gets real fizzy. One of the best things at healing the gut from food allergies.Well I have rambled.I am sure you can tell how passionate Ifeel about this.I thank God for bringing this diet to my attention and hope to gain health in the areas we haven't been able to achieve yet so far.Anyway here is the macaroon recipe.
HEAVENLY MACAROONS
2 AND1/2 CUPS UNSWEETENED COCONUT
1/3 CUP WHOLE WHEAT PASTRY FLOUR

1 TSP ALMOND EXTRACT
1/3 TO 1/2 CUP WATER
PREHEAT OVEN TO 350,LINE COOKIE SHEET WITH WAX PAPER,VERY IMPORTANT OR THEY WILL STICK,BRUSH WITH OIL
MIX DRY INGREDIENTS.iN ANOTHER BOWL,WHISKWET INGREDIENTS TOGETHER,THEN ADD TO DRY AND MIX WELL.wITH MOIST FINGERS ,SQUEEZE BALLS OF DOUGH.BAKE ABOUT 20 MIN

homemade mouthwash,toothpaste,and more

Well, today has been a fun day of creating in my kitchen.I have been learning on how to make a lot of stuff myself,to save money and a lot healthier.Today I even made my own version of chloraseptic and it works great. My son had a sore throat and before we knew it had consumed half a bottle of chloraseptic. That is when I decided no more of these dangerous medicines in the house. So I came up with an alternative.I made a very rich clove and licorice root tea in distilled water and let it steep for an hour. Then pour it in to a spray bottle add a little vegetable glycerine to sweeten and that is all you need.It works really well for sore throats and is quite numbing, especially if kept in the fridge.I also found a recipe for toothpaste and the kids were amazed at how clean there were afterward. They weren't crazy about the taste but could tolerate it.I never buy mouthwash because of all the crap they put in them so was quite happy to find a simple way to make it and so inexpensive.Another recipe I am going to share is for a gluten free healthy candy like bar that is so good I have to limit myself and the kids want to eat it constantly. But it is meant for a treat, not a meal.Ireally love making my own things as it just makes living healthy so much more affordable.God does want us to take care of His temple so it is important that we try to do things as healthy as we can.T ake small consistent steps till those feel comfortable then take bigger ones.Soon it will all be second nature.I am finding out with the candida diet that I am on that the longer I do it the easier it is and I really enjoy eating this way.Anyway here are the recipes,
ANTIBACTERIAL MOUTHWASH
2cups distilled water, bring to a boil then pour over herbs[store like this overnight then pour off]
2tbsp green tea,2 tbsp,peppermint tea,2 tbsp parsley,1 tsp tincture of myrrh
REGULAR MOUTH WASH
2 cups distilled water,2 tbsp parsley 2bsp peppermint,1 tbsp thyme ,
you can also add essential oils or aloe vera juice and I added a little vegetable glycerine to sweeten make it the same manner as above
TOOTHPASTE
1/2 CUP BAKING SODA,2 TSP SEA SALT,3 TBSP VEGETABLE GLYCERINE ADD ESSENTIAL OIL OF MINT OR LEMON,OR WHATEVER YOU WOULD LIKE,I USED WINTERGREEN AND TEA TREE OIL IN MINE,MIX TOGETHER TO A PASTE,THIS WILL WHITEN YOUR TEETH AND FRESHEN YOUR BREATH.
CASHEW RICE CRISPY BARS
1 CUP CASHEWS GRIND IN FOOD PROCESSOR TILL A POWDER,
1/2 CUP UNSWEETENED BANANA CHIPS,1/2 CUP DRIED FRUIT,1/3 CUP RAW HONEY,1/2 CUP EXTRA VIRGIN COCONUT OIL[ADD TO CASHEWS AND PROCESS]
STIR IN 1/3 CUP FLAX MEAL 1/4 CUP VANILLA PROTEIN POWDER AND 1 TBSP PEANUT BUTTER,1/2 cup crushed rice crispies MIX ALL TOGETHERAND FLATTEN IN A PAN,CHILL,KEEP IN REFRIGERATOR AS THE COCONUT OIL WILL MELT AND THE BARS GET SOFT IF THERE NOT.T HE COCONUT OIL IS WHAT GIVES IT ADELICIOUS TEXTURE AND FLAVOR PLUS HEALTHY BRAIN FATS FOR GROWING KIDS.JUST MAKE SURE IT IS EXTRA VIRGIN OR IT COULD CAUSE PROBLEMS RATHER THAN HELP.I hope you enjoy these and live healthy even on a b udget. It can be done with a little extra time in the kitchen.God bless your night.

Dangers of MSG

Hi there,as usual it has been a while. When my kids go back to school it weill be easier to get some computer time, but for now I will have to post when I can.I cant believe summer is getting close to being over, it seems like it just began. This weekend my husband celebrated his 35 th birthday and my sister kindly watched the kids overnight for us.We had a really nice time relaxing and sleeping in.We ate at applebes and as usual I got a horible stomachache and I think it is due to MSG.When I GOT home I had some emails from my yahoo health groups about MSG and it just made sense.I knew it was bad and an excitotoxin but what I DIDN't know was that it raises your insulin 3 times faster than sugar so it is also a major factor in diabetes.I have been doing a candida diet from body ecology and was stasrting to feel really light and clean and eating out just bogged me down and made me realize just how toxic a lot of food is when you haven't ate anything processed in a while. It has only reinforced for me to stay dfoing what I am doing. Also my warts on my leg are drying up and my skin and hair are getting healthier and it has only been a few weeks with some cheating.[birthday parties you know]Anyway I have two links that I AM GOINGto post about MSG that will explain a lot. Please take it seriosly as I believe this and nutrasweet are killing people and damaging our chidrens nuerological systems.http://www.msreversed.com/msg.htmlhttp://www.becomehealthynow.com/article/dietbad/32/2/

Zoo days and coconut crust recipe, homemade vitamin c

FIRST CAMEL RIDE TOO.The kids and there painted faces. Also me and my sister-in-law.We had a great time.

We have had a hot week this week as Iam sure most of you can relate. Also this week was L&L zoo days, which is when our local grocery store gives out free admission tickets for any one to go to the zoo 2 days every summer. They also have face painting ,free snacks and drinks and bouncy houses for the kids to jump in.It is always a lot of fun and we go every year. This is the first time I ever got my face painted though and probably wouldn't have done that except my sister-in-law dragged me over there and we did it together.PRETTY COOL.THE REST OF THE WEEK WAS A LITTLE ROUGHER AS hANDSOME HAD A WISDOM TOOTH GIVING HIM A LOT OF GREIF AND GOT IT PULLED,AND WAS ON VICODIN FOR A FEW DAYS.Sorry about the caps,Ididn't realize it.My monthly visitor came as well and so Thursday both me and hubby were not feeling so well.I CAME ACROSS a yahoo group that is all about health and so I SPENT A COUPLE OF hours there since I DIDN'T FEEL SO AMBITIOUS.Today we went to church with my in-laws as we were all meeting at Applebees for their anniversary lunch,so that was nice. The kids were excited because they got a kid ice cream sundae although the sugar left them a bit hyper.WE TOOK THEM HOME AND LET THEM RUN IT OFFin the pool.TWO great movies this weekend that we watched were COLLEGE ROADTRIP,and MEET THE ROBINSONS.If you want good clean humor and moving sentiment in a movie those two were it.WE loved them.I came across this recipe for homemade vitamin C and thought I WOULD PASS IT ALONG.

Take a few organic [has to be organic] citrus fruits.THOUROGLY wash thefruits then peel.Dehydrate the peels till they are super dry or they will get fungus.Once they are dry enough, grind them in a coffee grinder and immedietly onto a cold plate. The reason for the cold plate is that the grinding can generate enough heat to star destroying vitamins if not cooled right away.Store your powder in a sealed container in the freezer and use 1TSP A DAY .

I have been making a lot of coconut milk bnecause I am making coconut milk kefir for us and was trying to think of ways to use the coconut pulp that is left over.It pains me to waste food.So I MIXED IT WITH FLAXMEAL ,SOME COCONUT OIL,STEVIA AND CINNAMON,then spread it on parchment paper and slowly baked it in the oven and let it dry out.walah CRACKERS.I also sprinkled a little raw sugar on top. Then it came to me that it would make an awesome crust for pies or tarts that is gluten -free.It was really yummy any way.Bonus for me is I am not wasting and my kids always want crackers, and I have been wanting a crispy gluten -free crust alternative to graham cracker crumb..

I have some pictures from the zoo as well to share with you .Hope you all have a God filled happy day.

Health info and recipes

Well how are you all doing so far this summer.I have been out of circulation lately.we have been going through some struggles so I have not felt like writing ,but I know God is so much bigger than any thing we can face so I am done worrying. We have had a pretty good summer for the most part. The kids have been living in the pool so they are getting very brown.I will have to send some pics later.Tomorrow we are going to the zoo.It is their annual free day and they have a lot of festivities going for the kids and they always love it.On a health note, yesterday I was studying on my vitamins and what they are all for and such and I learned some very interesting facts about B-12 that I never knew. There are 2 kinds and one[cyanocobalamin] does little more than feed the parasites. The one we need and that we can actually absorb is called methylcobalamin. The first one is typically what is in most health stores and the most that can be absorbed is 3%.This vitamin is very important for nerve health, digestion, anemia blood and energy to name a few,but most people do not have enough good bacteria to absorb or make b-12.What you want is sublingual methylcobalamin.ANYTHING less than that is just wasting your money and can actually make your situayion worse. Here is a place you can get a good source.http://www.vitaminlady.com/Vitamin_Research_Products/Methylcobalamin_Drops.aspAnother interesting note about B-12 is that if babies are given it at birth it can prevent them from having allergies because it saves them from adrenal stress from the birth process.Well on to other things as this is kind of a hodge podge night,I came up with a healthy delicious ice cream recipe that was low dairy and very creamy. The kids loved it,I still reacted a little to it because I am so dairy sensitive that I can't even have a little unless it is kefir.I am devoting a whole post on the wonders of kefir soon. The recipe for the ice cream[which I will have recipes for entirely dairy free later]

CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER ICE CREAM

3 cups soy milk,1/4 cup agave nectar,2 egg yolks,3/4 cup plain yogurt,1/2 cup half and half,1/4 cup peanut butter and 1/2 or 1/3 cup chocolate protein powder

whip all together and chill before pouring in your ice cream freezer. It takes 20 min or so and if you want it harder transfer to your freezer for a little while ,rich and creamy

THAI PEANUT SAUCE

In a blender put 1/4 cup peanut b utter 1 tbsp soy sauce,1 tbsp vinegar,1 tbsp sesame oil,2 tbsphoney,1 tsp fish sauce,1/2 tsp ginger,1/2 tsp cayenne, puree in blender and gradually drizzle in about 1/2 cup safflower oil[or any you like] this is delicious over salads with chicken or steak and slivered almonds with some kind of fruit for an aisian salad,or stir it into spaghetti noodles with meat and stir fry veggies for a deliciuos thai noodle dish

COCONUT MACAROONS HEALTHY STYLE

2AND1/2 CUP UNSWEETENED COCONUT[SHREDDED],1/3 CUP WHOLE WHEAT PASTRY FLOUR,1/4 TSP SALT,1/4 CUP BROWN RICE SYRUP,AGAVE,OR MAPLE SYRUP OR HONEY

1/4 CUP MAPLE SYRUP[ADDITIONAL TO ABOVE]

1 TSP ALMOND EXTRACT 1/3 CUP WATER[MAYBE MORE IF NEEDED]PREHEAT OVENTO 350 MIX DRY INGREDIENTS.IN ANOTHER BOWL,WHISK WET INGREDIENTS TOGETHER,THEN ADD TO DRY AND MIX WELL.WITH MOIST FINGERS,SQUEEZE 1 INCH BALLS OF DOUGH.BAKE TILL GOLDEN ABOUT 20 MIN.PUT ON PARCHMEBT PAPER BECAUSE THEY LIKE TO STICK.YOU CAN ALSO ADD CHOCOLATE CHIPS OR NUTS IF YOU WANT.

All about oatmeal

I hope today has been a great day for everyone. It has been pretty good for me.Busy as usual.I seem to have a hard time getting to my blogging lately but things should slow down soon.Today we went over to my sisters to pick strawberries because her patch is overflowing so that was a real blessing.I am sure most of you have heard about little misters hospital stay.W hat a rough time they have all had.We had big mister staying with us and he was good as gold but you could tell he was getting homesick. It was so cute the way he pushed the kittens around in a stroller and read them stories. He loves my kittens. My kids enjoyed having him there and wondered if we could keep him.I didn't think that his parents would go for that so we gave him back. They all seem to be doing better now though.I have a client coming in the morning so I have been up cleaning and making sure everything is in order. It is kind of late but I wanted to post a few recipes that we really like.Oatmeal is something that is affordable and healthy and good to replace wheat in a lot of things as a lot of people are allergic to wheat.Summer is especially wheat allergy provoking as the fatty acids that the sun burns up in our bodies causes wheat sensitivities. So it is a good time to eat our oats, although if you are low in iron it is not good for you.Get your iron up first.I forgot to mention but I cut my hair and it is the shortest I have ever gone.I am still in a bit of shock and getting used to it.But I wanted to get rid of the dry hair that I HAD FROM A FOOLISH BLEACH JOB i DID IN an attempt to go red.BAD IDEA.Black is the only color for me.

Here is a recipe for granola balls;

GRANOLA BALLS

1/2 CUP PEANUT BUTTER,1/2 CUP ALMOND BUTTER,2/3 CUP BROWN RICE SYRUP,OR 1/2 CUP OF HONEY or agave nectar,1/2 TSP VANILLA,MIX TOGETHER.ADD 3/4 CUP RAISINS OR DRIED CRANBERRIES,3 TBSP CAROB OR COCOA POWDER,2 TBSP SESAME SEEDS,1/2 CUP CAROB CHIPS UNSWEETENED OR DARK CHOCOLATE CHIPS[OPTIONAL]1 AND1/4 CUP OATS, MIX ALL TOGETHER AND FORM IN TO BALLS,i ALSO ADDED 2 TBSPS PROTEIN POWDER.KEEP IN FRIDGE

HOMEMADE GRANOLA CEREAL[i make this to save money and it is healthier and more filling]6 cups oatmeal,2 cups raw sugar 1 CUP OLIVE OIL AND 1STICK BUTTER MELTED OR COCONUT OIL,1 AND 1/2 CUP PROTEIN POWDER,1 CUP FLAXSEED MEAL,1 CUP WHEAT GERM[OPTIONAL],1 TBSP BAKING SODA 1 TBSP VANILLA,2 TBSP CINNAMON,1 CUP FINELY CHOPPED NUTS,1 CUP SUNFLOWER SEEDS,1 AND HALF CUP WATER,STIR TOGETHER,TILL CRUMBLY AND SMALL CHUNKS THEN SPREAD OUT IN A BAKING SHEET AND BAKE AT 250 DEGREES,STIRRING REGULARLY TILL DRY AND SOMEWHAT CRUNCHY, AFTER IT IS DONE YOU CAN ADD RAISINS BUT IF YOU PUT THEM IN BEFORE THEY BURN.VERY YUMMY AND ALSO HELPS KEEP THE BOWELS REGULAR.THIS IS THE ONLY CEREAL i CAN EAT IN THE MORNING WITHOUT GETTING A LOW BLOOD SUGAR SPELL.http://www.bioinnovations.net/yourhealthtv/energybarshow.html

tHE LINK IS A RECIPE FOR WONDERFUL GRANOLA BARS,I DON'T PUT IN ALL THE DIFFERENT DRIED FRUIT IT CALLS FOR,I JUST USE WHAT EVER NUTS OR FRUIT I HAVE,I WILL ALSO GIVE YOU THE LINK TO HER HEALTHY RECIPES SITEhttp://www.bioinnovations.net/yourhealthtv/recipes.htm

Well I AM signing off for tonight but I hope you find these recipes useful. As always God blees

Healthy kids snack recipes

WELL,it has been a while since I have been able to write. My laptop crashed and so now there is 4 other people Ishare my computer with plus I do my biofeedback therapies on mine as well.So grabbing some computer time is kind of hard. Not to mention life isbusy. This weekend has been very busy to say the least.Ihad my nephew over to spend the night because Little Mister was very sick, and neede a lot of care.He is doing better now, though but he had us worried. He has vasculitis and his chicken pox caused it to flare up.Then Handsome's brother and wife bought a house and needed help moving so we were there all day Saturday packing ,mowing and loading and unloading. The kids were quite bored till loading time and they really did a lot of carrying boxes which really helped save a lot of trips.Princess andBubba had diahrea all day and were glad to go home.Ifelt so bad for them but couldn't do anything about it.We got home at 9:30 and had some dinner.I GAVE THE KIDS SOME PEPTO BISMOL AND SENT THEM TO BED. Handsome was mowing for over three hours and ended up really burnt.Fathers day plans changed as we were going to go to the park ,but he was so sore he did not want to go out in the heat.Ithink he got heat exhaustion so I have been making him and the kids drink lots of water and pedialyte.I took a melon ,bananas and lots of cut up veggies to much on and that was very refreshing too.If you have it available the kids will eat it.Well if your kids are like mine then they like to snack. And actually snacking on the right things is very good for them.It keeps them from getting low blood sugar which is behind a lot of behavioral issues .So here are a few ideas.

VACCINES AND WHAT TO DO ABOUT THEM

Sorry it has been so long .My computer has been on the fritz so we finally got the kids' computer out here for me to use.Today I want to share some info on vaccines that I got from that I got from HEALTHKEEPERS MAGAZINE/www.HealthKeepers.net,that you may not be aware of.Vaccines contain many toxic ingredients such as antifreeze aluminum, mercury and formaaldehyde to name a few.The vaccines are grown on and strained through animal or human tissue. The worst, and you won't believe this is the chicken pox and rubella vaccine as they are grown on cells of ABORTED FETUSES. ALL of these vaccines have origination in abortion.I think the word needs to get out about this so people are aware of the moral implications in using these unnecessary vaccines. Also you may be surprised to know that the flu vaccine contains mercury.Don't vaccinate before you educate. There is growing suspicion that vaccination is responsible for the increase in autoimmune diseases. The most frequently reported manifestations for the various vaccinationswere1]HEPATITIS-B-rhuematoid arthritis, vasculitis, encephalitis, nueropathy and thrombocytopenia; 2]MMR-acute arthritis or athralgia, chronic arthritis and thrombocytopenia; 3]INFLUENZA-Guillab-barre syndrome [GBS ]and vasculitis;4]POLIO-GBS;5]CHICKENPOX-nuerological problems. In additon to these autoimmune conditions there are many chronic diseases that have been linked as well, especially from the hepatitis b vaccine.I personnally feel the 2 vaccines my son had are why he got ADHD and had a seizure. The change was like night and day in him after his shots.I have detoxed all of us from vaccines and you can do so through biofeedback therapy or vaccination detox from natures sunshine. For more info go tohttp://www.whale.to/a/tenpenny.html for materials and teachings on vaccinations.I treat people on biofeedbac and I see vaccines come up as a toxin for almost everyone .There are many homeopathics available as antidotes to the many things we think we need to vaccinate on.Also if you are in a state that mandates vaccines you can join the CHRISTIAN HEALTH FELLOWSHIP http://christianhealthfellowship.com/who will send a letter on your behalf and it gives you a legal way out I hope you feel a little more informed and are as mad as I am that they use babies like this.good night

Bettering ourselves and homemade mushroom soup

I was just listening to Joel Osteen as I was also baking a cake.It is 10:30 at night and I am still finishing up.This has been a long day.I have been on my feet so much I decided to skip my exercises, but I did take time to have a bubble bath and that felt nice.jOEL WAS SAYING SOME VERY INTERESTING THINGS AND i FELT VERY INSPIRED AND WANTED TO SHARE IT.Sorry about the caps,it was an accident.Anyway he was talking about making sure we don't get destination disease, where we feel like we have arrived at our destination and not be continuosly striving to go higher with the Lord and in our learning. We need to make a plan of some kind to each day take steps toward a goal and always be putting good things in our minds.I personally have gone through the benefits received when we fill our mind with positive instead of negative. When I had panic attacks, the only way Ihad to control them was to be listening to sermons, reading my bible,or listening to chritian musics.By keeping good things going in it kept the focus off all my fears and insecurities.Even thenI didn't get total victory until I started to consciously choose forgiveness and to speak scripture over myself and family daily.I have heard that you haven't forgiven someone unless you can pray for God to bless them. That was very convicting for me.Joel also stated that if we spend just one hour studying something daily then in three years we will be an expert on that subject.I thoght that was very encouraging because I often don/t have more time than that.So I encourage you alonmg with myself to keep actively learning new things and striving to grow in the LORD.We don't have to learn it all at once. The other thing that caught my attention was that we should seek out people who we admire and strive to be like, and that life is to short to spend your time with those who drag you down with them.We do have a choice about who we hang with .Umm my cake is smelling really good.I am making it for my sister A as she is coming over tomorrow and it is her favorite cake. The thing she really likes is that she can enjoy it guilt-free as I have improvised on the recipe to make it healthy.I have been a little stubborn about sharing the recipe as I invented it butIT IS SO GOOD i DON'T WANT YOU ALL TO MISS IT.i WILL POST IT TOMORROW.Tonight I will post the mushroom soup recipe so we can make it from scratch rather than buying the MSG ladden stuff.I prersonally would probably leave out the roasted red peppers depending on what I am using it for. Also you can substitute whole milk or evaporated skim milk instead of the cream to save fat and calories.

Fun with family and smoothies

I actually have a moment to post earlier than a week since my last one.It seems there is always something to do with 3 active children around. Also right now I have 3 kittens which are 10 weeks old and getting into everything. We are still looking for homes for them, but in the mean time we have as many cats as people in our house plus a chihuahua. If I didn't have my high tech air purifier I wouldn't survive. It is amazing what that has done to prevent allergies in my children who could never handle pets before. It has also kept all our animals from shedding along with a holistic diet and vitamins.Yes even my dog is a healthnut. His favorite snacks are steamed broccoli and banana chunks. Now I've gotten sidetracked with what I was going to talk about. We went to my aunts church today to here my sister A sing and her brazilian boyfriend play piano. They did a beautiful job, someday you will see thei CD's in the store. Then my baby brothers girfriend was graduating today so we saw her graduation which just made me think about how little time we really have with our kids and that someday it is going to be them up there.I want to cherish every moment with my kids and not be so busy with cleaning all the time. That is so hard for me because I am a neat freak but it takes a lot more time to keep up with it then it used too and I have to make time for other things as well. The kids are getting old enough to help out too.I haven't been real good at enforce it because I had to work so hard as a child and I want them to be kids as long as possible. But we do have to maintain balance.Well I have officially gotten off track again but it has been kind of an off track day and besides my husband says I am not open enough about things and that I need to let myself out.Anyway we went to my parents house and had a delicious brazilian dinner which was pretty healthy except for the pies.My mom knows how to make some good pie and I broke the rules and had one piece.I could barely even finish it because I have been away from sugar long enough it tasted too sweet to me so I was pretty happy about that, especially b ecause conquering my sweet tooth has been my biggest challenge. We all got a little crazy and wild as can happen when you get us sisters together so we hope we didn't scare the new boyfriend off.We all date and marry these shy quiet guys who have to adjust to our huge, boisterous family. They must really love us.My nephews Big andLittle mister are recovering from thechicken pox quite well but they were pretty speckeled looking.Somehow we ended up running relays,I think my husband started it because he used to lead exercises in the military and he was working them military style.Even the kids were tuckered out.Needless to say they conked out pretty easy tonight. Now about the smoothies, one of the things a former ice cream addict does a lot is make smoothies.I also like to take advantage of their deliciousness to stick in a few very healthy ingredients.I always keep frozen bananas, berries, sweet potatoes, and frozen spinach or broccoli on hand.By having half your ingredients frozen it makes it creamier and more like a milk shake.I also stick carrot juice and barley green or acai berry concentrate in them.Stevia, honey or maple syrup taste great and help sweeten the ones with more veggies in them. Also kefir or homemade yogurt are very nutritious additions too.One of our favorites is an apple pie shake with frozen apple slices, half carrot juice and half apple juice, apple sauce, yogurt, sweetener[maple syrup is good] cinnamon and vanilla protein powder.I do almost always add some form of protein powder to keep the blood sugar levels steady. The sweet potatoes make a great smoothie for those who love sweet potato pie and ice cream.Take frozen sweet potatoes, frozen banana, apple juice ,yogurt, vanilla protein powder and pumpkin pie spice and blend.Avacados alsoadd creamy body to fruit smoothies. The broccoli and spinach work well in any of the berry smoothies, trust me it really tastes good. The neighbor kids come here after school just for my smoothies and I always make them healthy.Anothe thing I have added is glutamine powder to them as that really helps the stomach and the brain and also helps with sugar cravings. It really helped with my Tinkerbells stomach issues and gluten sensitivity and it is flavorless. When my kids are sick I make a sweet fruity one and throw in about 10 1000mg vitamin c.You need to add a little extra honey to this one and bananas help too but they do enjoy it.I hope these ideas have helped in finding ways to sneak in healthy things for your family.Just let your imagination go wild and your taste buds guide you.Spend time with your family and drink smoothies to your health.

Homemade calcium supplement and recipes

How is everybody today. We have been enjoying the beautifull weather and getting some yardwork done.We also went to the park and the kids ran off some energy. It has been nice to just have a family day.I was reading in a magazine and saw a recipe that looked really good and didn't take any fancy ingredients so I went and made it for dinner and it was delicious so I will post the recipe tonight. It is called moroccan chicken stew.Yesterday we went and visited my amish grandma and also met my sister's boyfriend for the first time. She has been living in Colorado for almost a year and is finally back home.It was so nice to see her again, and her guy seems like a really great person too. We'll get to know him better tomorrow as we will spend the day together. Two of my other sisters' children have come down with a miserable case of the chicken pox so I have been praying for them and offering advice but it always feels like I am not doing enough to ease their suffering.I always feel so bad when Isee young mothers go through these hardships, but I guess our trials make us stronger.I know I have learned a lot through mine, and now I can better relate to others.Hang in there girls!I als have another recipe I'd like to share for sugarless sugar cookies with a delicious frosting that has no sugar. Then I am going to post a recipe on making your own calcium supplement that breaks down much better than most. This is out of my school book so it is a legitimate nutritional recipe.Let's get started shall we

What a weekend!Saturday and Sunday we stayed at abeautiful bed and breakfast called lasing impressions which I have a link above for. This was specifically designed for scrapbooking.Talk about getting the royal treatment,we sure did.It was such a nice way to relax and get lost in memories of your loved ones.It is also nice to not have to cook and clean for a while.I took Princess with me for a little mother daughter time and she just loved it.SHE also did her own scrapbook and really stayed focused.I was proud of her.It ws sad to leave but I ALSO MISSED the ones at home.It was really hard on Tinkerbell but she had her dad and did okay anyway.First thing this morning she made her own scrapbook page for me and Bubba made one too.I guess they didn't want to be left out of the fun.Now ,about the weight loss part of this.I am starting thePERFECT WEIGHT AMERICA PLAN tomorrow as it is a healthy lifestyle and the creator of the program is my hero.It is Jordan Rubin author of THE MAKERS DIET who designed it and I have a lot of faith in him.He promotes the ultimate in healthy eating and if you buy his PERFECT WEIGHT book you get your own personal online health coach for a year.I bought the kit which includes healing workout dvd, food journal and the book.It is very inexpensive and the websight offers links to blogs of others ,health lectures,a menu based on your body type which they test you on and all kinds of fun things.PLEASE CHECK IT OUT.We can serve God better if we are healthier because when you feel good it reflects on every area of our life in a positive manner. After all God took our sickness on HIMSELF too,not just our sins.He wants us to be at our best.Well I am signing off for now ,happy scrapbooking and weight loss,

Busy days and new recipes

Hi,how are you all?I am doing good.Things have definately been busy lately.I had a wonderful trip to Ohio recently to see my sister Kat who had a baby boy. What a beautiful child, his sister is gorgeous too,but you should see the parents. Is it any wonder?Anyway if you want to see pictures my sister has them on her blog at photomamacreations.blogspot.com.I took tinkerbell with me as I knew it would be hard on her if I was gone.I haven't been away too often and I thought it would give us some quality time together. We have plans for the other two to have their turn as well. She had a great time.We rented a hotel room and got to soak in the hot tub and swim mornings and evenings and during the day we hung out at the hospital.Since we have been back it has been a whirlwind of business. It seems my work is self replicating and time just disappears.I realized how long it has been since I have posted,so I am making some time tonight.Princess has been accepted to youth college for a few weeks this summer,so we are really proud of that. She is too.I am really proud of the way my kids are turning out.I am thankful the Lord is always looking out for them.My husband has been working from the time the kids get home from school till 2:00 in the morning so they don't see him much lately and I can tell that is taking its toll, but he should be getting a shift change soon.I can't wait ,I am tired of going to bed with the dog.I have been learning different types of healthy cooking and raw foods lately. Some good, some not so good.I will post the good ones. One thing I have learned is I am not cut out for an all raw vegetarian diet.bleh! But we do need to eat more raw than what we do.There are several recipes I am going to post. The first one sounds weird but is so good my kids and the neighbor girl were licking their plates, they enjoyed it so much.It is loaded with healthy fats and minerals.
avacodo lemon tart[recipe one]
3 avacodos,1/4 cup lemon juice,or juice of one lemon
1 tsp lemon zest,1/4 cup agave nectar, maple syrup or honey[you can add more if it is not sweet enough for you]1 tsp vanilla
Put in blender till creamy and fluffy, then pour into graham cracker crust and serve with fresh kiwi and strawberries.DELICIOUS
You can also layer with fruit in dessert dishes for a parfait, and if you want to make it a key lime mousse just substitute limes for the lemon
AVACODO CHOCOLATE MOUSSE[recipe two]
3avacodos,1/2 cup cocoa,1/4 cup whole pitted dates that have been soaked a few hours
1/3 cup agave nectar, maple syrup or honey or sweeten according to taste
1 tsp vanilla
put in blender and puree, serve in dessert dishes with whipped cream
HEALTHY PEANUT BUTTER BALLS[recipe three]
1 cup peanut butter,1cup honey,1cup powdered milk
1/4 cup flax meal,1/2 cup almond meal or ground sunflower seeds
mix together till stiff, if to moist add ground oats, you can also substitute the powdered milk for any of the dry ingredients if allergic to dairy. Also you can use almond or cashew butter instead of peanut butter,I always add a 1/4 cup tahini as well because it gives it a lot of calcium, but if you don't like it you can leave it out.
1/2 cup raisins,1,2 cup carob chips, mix in and roll in tight balls.THEY STAY FRESH STORED IN THE FRIDGE AND ARE GREAT FOR PREVENTING LOW BLOOD SUGAR,IF YOU ARE DIABETIC USE AGAVE NECTAR INSTEAD OF HONEY.THE KIDS LOVE THEM
AT CHRISTMAS I DIP THEM IN BITTERSWEET BAKING CHOCOLATE YUM
RAW GLUTEN-FREE BROWNIES[RECIPE FOUR]
2 CUPS WALNUTS SOAKED IN WATER OVERNIGHT[DRAIN BEFORE PROCESSING]
1/2 CUP PITTED DATES SOAKED[DRAIN BEFORE PROCESING]
1/3 CUP COCOA[YOU CAN ADD MORE IF YOU WANT IT REALLY RICH]
1/4 CUP LIQUID SWEETENER SUCH AS AGAVE
1 TSP VANILLA
3/4 CUP DRIED CHERRIES OR CHERRY FLAVORED CRAISINS
PUT IN FOOD PROCESSOR TILL FINALLY GROUND AND PAT INTO A CAKE PAN ,CHILL THEY ARE BETTER AFTER THE FLAVORS HAVE HAD TIME TO MELD TOGETHER
I hope you enjoy these and would love to here your comments on what you thought,God bless your day.

Fun at the park and healthy oatmeal cookies

Well it has been a while since I have last posted .We have been very busy, and have had my sister and her three kids here with us so you can imagine how it can be with 6 kids ages 9 to 1 1/2.I think I lived in my kitchen all week between cooking and cleaning up,plus I have been learning to sprout and do more of the raw foods so you will be hearing about my ventures in all things healthy as well as getting recipes. The recipe I did today was basically gluten-free and held together nicely.I prepared the dough last night and added the yogurt and baked them today that way they would be soaked without affecting the recipes.I also baked bread with the soaked wheat and left out the water in the recipe to accomodate and it rose beautifully even though there was no white flour in it.It does make your bread less heavy and seems to digest better. We are all eating our cultured vegetables and I really enjoy them, but the kids are still getting used to eating them.I told them they would get a dollar a week for eating them daily and drinking their carrot-celery juice. They do it for the money now,but I know that starting the habit now will make it easier for them when they are older. They have been so good lately I feel so proud. We go to the parks alot to relax and get away, from town life.I can't wait to live in the country again.I took a few pictures of the kids, you can see their personalities in them. The bottom picture is our picnic in the living room with a movie. The kids love it. Well I don't want to sign off without giving you a recipe.SO,HER IT IS,
OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES
3/4 CUP XYLITOL,3/4 CUP SUCINAT[IF YOU DON'T HAVE THESE YOU CAN USE RAW SUGAR OR HONEY]
1 CUP COCONUT OIL
1/2 CUP PLAIN YOGURT,3 AND 1/2 CUP OATS[BOBS RED MILL HAS GLUTEN FREE OATS FOR CELIACS]1/2 CUP POTATO STARCH,1/2 CUP TAPIOCA FLOUR
3/4 CUP MILLET FLOUR,1 TSP XANTHAN GUM[OPTIONAL]
1 TSP BAKING SODA,3/4 TSP SALT,1 CUP RAISINS
I MIXED IT TOGETHER WITH MY HANDS TO GET EVERYTHING THOROUGHLY MIXED AND TO KEEP THE COCONUT OIL FROM CREATING CHUNKS,PUT IN REFRIGERATOR AT LEAST 4 HOURS ENJOY,WE SURE HAVE,GOD BLESS

Eating healthy,BODY ECOLOGY Style

Hi everybody!Hope your all doing good.Today I want to discuss eating healthy, but taking it up a notch. It may seem hard at first to eat really healthy but we just take baby steps.Especially with children[and husbands]you have to ease them in it and be a little sneaky.I am working on my exams right now and am learning alot about how important our PH is.Most of us are too acidic and eat far too much protein. We need protein but not in near the large doses that is being promoted.A few things we can do to help digest our protein meals and also help alkalize us when we eat acidic foods such as meat or refined foods are to add sea salt or cayenne to our food.Organic sodium is very alkalizing. Also, having raw apple cider vinegar or lemon juice in warm water with your meals, and eating cultured vegetables or kefir with every meal. All these things help restore good digestion which is the foundation to good health.Another that we need to do more of is to presoak all our grains beans and nuts before eating them, especially the grains and beans because this helps break up the phytic acid in them which is a huge factor in the prevalence of grain and gluten allergies.Freshly ground flour is also much healthier because the chemical components in flour change after three days of being ground.I have ordered me agrinder and will be soaking and grinding my flour and making my own pasta from now on.Sprouting is wonderful too.A book that I have that will teach you everything you need to know about restoring balance to your health through fermented foods and how to do these things is THE BODY ECOLOGY DIET.They also have a free newsletter that is very helpful and I have learned a lot from them.Their principles go right along with the courses that I'M taking.I finally got to taste the cultured vegetables that I made and they are delicious. You can season them and add them to salads, sandwiches, smoothies or just eat them straight. My dog even loved them.If you really want to be healthy then it is so important to get rid of the candida, and all of these diet changes will help to do that. For those who are gluten sensitive or severely grain intolerant then their is a fermented grain supplement that is designed to help cure that along with following these priciples .It is calledB.E. WHOLEGRAIN LIQUID.This supplement is safe for celiacs as well as the gluten in the grains is destroyed through the fermentation.I will send a link to the website to order it I got it for us as we have severe grain sensitivities and will keep you posted on how we are feeling.https://shop.bodyecology.com/prodinfo.asp?number=BE050

Setting goals

Well I just finished my exercises, but how can you just sit when your watching biggest loser?I sure can't,anyway. How about them awesome people. They sure have willpower and strength.I feel so proud of all the contestants for their hardwork, but also for all of those out there who are working hard at becoming healthier. That brings me to my subject,Idon't know about the rest of you but God has been talking to my heart lately about my priorities and Italked a little bit about that yesterday. From now on I am taking time to think and pray about my goals I should set daily and write them down .Each day I commit to with Gods help to make time for those goals. Also I want to set long term goals and take steps toward those goals. Not run ahead of God but along side of him.A few of my goals I will share with you, regular exercise, daily time with God,more time playing with my chidren and less time cleaning and studying my courses daily.I commit to making time for dates with my husband and to keep striving to be a better person.I will pray for any one else who is ready to make time for their priorities and ask that you do the same for me.YEAH Ali won the biggest loser challenge. I just finished watching it and had to butt in.It just goes to show what we can accomplish if we put our mind to it especially if wehave god backing us up.I have experienced first hand how consistency can pay off. When I was overcoming the aenorexia I made a choice and God took it from there. It has been almost 6 years since it almost took my life but I focus on making good choices to get healthier and for a long time it didn't feel like it was getting me any where.I didn't feel good right away and my health didn't improve very fast because I was so run down, but now I am finally starting to see the payoff.I also have more energy and teach my kids about why it is important to eat healthy. In fact my son when offered a hamburger immediately plucked the bun off[I never eat my bun]and was asked whyhe was doing that.He said because white bread turns to glue and then I can't poop.Oh yes I have taught them well. haha.At afamily barbecue they had hotdogs and my mother in law was just ready to take a bite out of hers when Tinkerbell yelled NO grandma don't eat that .It has pig lips in it.Yes my kids will say anything, but at least I know they are getting health conscious. There is a verse in the bible that says not to let anything contaminate body and spirit so I feel we do have a responsibility to take care of ourselves. After all we can serve the Lord so much better when we feel good. So, I am making myself accountable to you to work on my goals and hopefully we can support each other.God bless you all

homemade yogurt and baby food

Hi there, hope you are all enjoying your day.We have been having spring finally.I had posted earlier about yogurt but needed to make a few changes. You can not add anything heated to your yogurt or you will kill some of the good bacteria,so what I HAVE FOUND IS TO ADD YOUR GELATIN OR ARROWROOT RIGHT IN THE BEGINNING WHEN YOU FIRST HEAT YOUR MILK.Once your yogurt is done you need to let it refrigerate before you can add any fruit or sweetener.I just put mine in a food processor and blended the fruit and either agave nectar or honey etc. for a few pulses till smooth and then back in the fridge.All-fruit jam stirred in itworks really nice too. Also if you didn,t want to mess with a thickener you can let your yogurt drip through a sieve and that will thicken it too.If you let it drip for a longer time you have a really nice cream cheese too.The web link I am giving tells you how to make your basic yogurt and also homemade baby food and teething biscuits etc. It is an awesome site especially for mothers of babies who want to make their own nutritious baby food.Just play around with the recipes till you get what you like.so long for now,I just got my new yogurt maker and am going to go try it out.yeahttp://www.wholesomebabyfood.com/makeyogurtforbaby.htm

Staying in balance

Well today was my birhday so I guess I am now 32 which feels like I am getting up there, but there was a time when I wasn't sure I was going to be around this long so I am thankful for everyday.Unfortunately I was not feeling well so we didn't get a whole lot of celebrating done.A couple of years ago when I was very sick and also recovering from aenorexia and panic disorder one of the things the Lord taught me was the importance of staying in balance in every area.Well, I have been ignoring that a bit too much lately and falling back into the workaholic,no time to rest or have fun pattern. It caught up with me this weekend and I had a bit of a meltdown, and ended up with the flu.So we went out for lunch which made me sick and I was to weak to do anything else except cry and come home for a nap.I told my husband I want a do over when I feel better. After some rest and prayer I realized I HAVE BECOME OUT OF BALANCE again and need to slow down a bit and take some time out for the things that are important to me and my family.Tonight I spent some quality time with the kids and we had a picnic on a blanket in the livingroom and watched snowbuddies. They had a great time and I am feeling much more relaxed. My stomach still hurts but I'm sipping on my own blend of herbal tea which the kids and I just love.I will put the ingredients on the bottom.A neat thing about chihuahuas that you may not know[and is also the reason we have one]is that they can absorb allergies andstress from their owner. In fact a naturopath told me that if someone is having an asthma attack that you help them by putting achihuahua on their chest. They can also absorb emotions which is why they have largely the temperament of their owners. Also why their some mean little dogs out there.Well my little guy had rough day today with me feeling the way Iwas because he snuggled up to take anap with me and suddenly jumped down and threw up all over.He actually absorbed it from me and this happens everytime Iget sick in my stomach.I do mlove my little guy.I'm also posting a recipe for a healthy chocolate mousse that someone has requested.First the tea:

this is for a 10 cup pot tea

2tbsps dried lavendar flower

2tbsp chamomile flowers

2tbsp dried echinacea

2 tbsp dried dandelion leaves

1 tbsp peppermint

This makes a strong tea so if you want it weaker you can add more water, but I prefer to use it medicinally. These are for relaxing and immune boosting and tummy soothing as well.

CHOCOLATE MOUSSE

1 BAR TOFU [around 12 ozs or so],1/3 CUP COCOA OR MELTED DARK CHOCOLATE

1/3 CUP AGAVE NECTAR OR HONEY

1/4 CUP ALMONDOR CASHEW BUTTER[CAN BE LEFT OUT]

1 TSP VANILLA

PUT ALL IN A BLENDER OR FOOD PROCESSOR AND PUREE TILL SMOOTH AND SILKY

POUR INTO CONTAINER OR PIE CRUST AND CHILL

IF YOU ADD THE NUT BUTTER IT IS RICHER AND ALSO MAKES A WONDERFUL FROSTING ON CAKE. ENJOY AND REMEMBER ,IF WE DON'T EVER SAY NO TO OTHERS WE MAY BE SAYING NO TO GOD ,OURSELVES AND OUR FAMILIES.JOIN ME IN MAKING AN EFFORT TO RELAX AND STAY BALANCED IN ALL WE DO.GOD BLESS

All in a days work

Today has been one of those days.Ironically I seem to have more of those when I am PMSing if you know what I mean.My husband has been working a lot this week and we only have one car right now so me and the kids have been getting a little stir crazy and with kids that is never a good thing.Tinkerbell has suffered as a result of their boredom.First they decided to bounce wooden blocks off the trampoline to see whos goes higher. At the same time I hear her and bubba both screaming and went to investigate and he had gotten bonked in the head and she in the lip.Because she had stitches there before it got cut pretty good.So I talked to them about the dangers of playing recklessly and things calmed down. You would think they learn, but of course not.I tell them to get dressed for a walk,s they love those and I thoght it would get them out of the house. To make it more special we would stop at the dollar store and they could each pick out a toy. They were excited ,and then they start running throgh the house.I had just stepped out of the room when I hear screaming.LOUD screaming.I rush out to see what had happened and tinkerbell has her tongue hanging out and bleeding.I am officially freaking out,as I rush to put a cool cloth on it and see that she has bitten her lip badly. Her and her brother had a collision as they were joyously bounding through the house. So after some doctoring and disciplining Bubba for being reckless and getting the 30 minutes of tears under control we went on our walk. After all we needed orajel and tylenol now. They all came back in much better spirits and I felt calmer too.But I didn't feel like cooking so brought back fish sticks. You know I am stressed when we eat junk food, but hey at least I didn't buy the oreos Iwas looking at.does anyone else have these days?Well so as not to just be having a whiny session I DO HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS too.My cat had kittens and I got a few pictures to share and will send more as they grow. Also I will post pictures of my beloved chihuahu and himalayan cat.Hope you like them.On a health note I always have arnica on hand and rescue remedy for when there is any kind of injury or emotional stress .Arnica is wonderful for phsical healing from injuries and helps prevent concussions .The rescue remedy helps with any kind of emotional stress or physical trauma in recovering quicker and preventing shock. It helped bubba when he had seizures and got tinkerbell through all her injuries.I myself have used rescue remedy many times to snap me out of a panic attack. No ones purse should be without these too.

gluten-free recipes and grain free

I was looking around for good nut yogurt recipes and came across this website that has some of the best recipes I've ever seen for a gluten-free or grain-free diet.It ws designed to get rid of fungus and help with autism but I know that we can benefit from this than just autism.I think it wold help with candida ,blood sugar and hyperactivity as well. The recipes are awesome and I can't wait to start doing it for my family.I have been trying to get away with as little grains as possible because they cause such fungus and food allergy problems.I will also send a link to a place you can order a lot of these health foods at a really affordable price. If we don't stay on a b
udget we will quit trying to eat healthy and it is just to important.http://www.pecanbread.com/

healthy no-bake cookies and letting your inner child out

Hi there ,HOW ARE YOU ALL?iAM DOING GREAT.Something the Lord has helped me with is how to be a kid[now that i am in my 30s],but I have found it to be so stress relieving. As a child I could never be a child ,we had 8 kids and I was the oldest and we left the amish church, which left us alone and without support. So my sister and I HAD TO CARRY AN ADULT LOAD.IWORKED HARDER WHEN Iwas a child then I do now and I AM A BUSY mother of three.A T 26 IDELEVOPED PANIC DISORDER,WHICH IS ONE OF THOSE THAT HAPPENS TO THOSE WHO NEVER RELAX AND HAVE FUN.AFTER A5 YEAR BATTLE WITH THAT[WHICH i WILL TALK MORE ABOUT LATER FOR THOSE WHO ARE SUFFERING AS WELL]God finally braught me to a place of utter trust in Him.Believe me it's a lot more relaxing trusting God then being afraid. But there was still something missing, I found myself being drawn to the park and felt a need to play right along with my kids. Now that is relaxing and good exercise too.I know it may seem corny but I really feel that those of us who have not had a chance to be children need to experience that to have true healing.I dare you to let your inner child out.I am even sending a picture to motivate you.You can't look sillier than me.

Now about the cookies, you will dicover that my real identity is cookie monster.I love cookies and last night I was having a craving for no-bake cookies but didn't want all the sugar and the sugar rush that goes with it,so I came up with these,

1/2 cup coconut oil

1/2 cup honey

3/4 cup xylitol[you can use another1/2 cup honey if you don't have this, but it won't be low glycemic]

3or 4 tbsps whey protein powder

1/3 cup water

1/3 cup cocoa

3squares bittersweet baking chocalate

melt all these together in a saucepan leaving the powder to add last

simmer till bubbly[be careful not to burn]

pour over 2 and1/2 cups to three cups of oatmeal

add 1/3 cup peanut butter[preferably natural]

stir all together quickly and scoop out on a plate with a teaspoon

it will get stiff if you don't work quickly because of the protein powder

These cookies are delicious and really conquors those chocalate cravings without ruining your good intentions

I am very excited today as I have been trying out recipes and have created a successful gingerbread cutout cookie recipe, that is entirely gluten-free.That is no easy task.My kids are not celiac but are gluten sensitive so they need to be very limited in their gluten intake so my goal is to make snacks that they can eat that dont fall apart as is the case with gluten-free flour. After researching ingredients in commercial gluten-free products[which cost a fortune] I have managed to do it.Their are a few ingredients that you must have to make it work.Tapioca starch or flour, xanthan gum, arrowroot or cornstarch. You will want to switch off which ones you use so as not to get sensitive to anything. the xanthan gum is your alternative to gluten and you cant hardly bake anything without it.It is a very important ingredient. The starches act as binders and keep your things from crumbling. Also by using aluminum-free baking powder you eliminate your need for eggs. Now for the recipe:
GLUTEN-FREE GINGERBREAD MEN
1 AND AHALF CUP BROWN RICE FLOUR,HALF CUP OF ALMOND MEAL [OR BROWN RICE FLOUR]
1 AND A HALF CUP TAPIOCA FLOUR
1TBSP ALUMINUM-FREE BAKING POWDER
4 TSP GINGER
2 TSP CINNAMON
1/2 TSP NUTMEG
1/2 TSP CLOVES
1/2 TSP SEA SALT
1/2 CUP VEG OIL
3/4 CUP MAPLE SYRUP
1/2 CUP MOLASSES
1/3 CUP ROMA OR INSTANT COFFEE
DECORATE W/DRIED FRUIT
MIX DRY INGRED IN ONE BOWL AND WET IN ANOTHER PLUS THE ROMA TO DISSOLVE
ADD WET TO DRY AND SHAPE IN TO A BALL
PLACE ON WAX PAPER WITH CORNSTARCH AND ORGANIC SUGAR OR XYLITOL CRYSTALS ,GENTLY ROLL OUT KEEPING THINGS FLOURED WITH THE CORNSTARCH TO KEEP IT FROM STICKING ,ENJOY THEY ARE ALITTLE CRUNCHIER THAN NORMAL BECAUSE OF THE RICE FLOUR,ALSO GREASE YOUR COOKIE SHEET.IF YOU WANT FROSTING THEN BLEND 1 CUP OF TOFU IN A BLENDER W/1/2 CUP MAPLE SYRUP AND VANILLA ,A LITTLE VANILLA PROTEIN POWDER THICKENS IT, DELICIOUS

cultured vegetables

This is a few recipes on making cultured vegetables. They are along the lines of eating yogurt as far as putting probiotics into your digestion. It is a lot cheaper than buying them and they improve your digestion and get rid of fungus as well as help with allergies. The connection with our digestion and our overall health is amazing. We produce more nuerotransmittors in our gut than in our brain so that is the missing link with alot of depression and add disorders. The brain gets treated with medication ,oftentimes but the stomach doesn't so the problem remains.Once you realize how important your digestion is you will want to star incorporating some of these fermented foods in your diet.I have also got arecipe for yogurt that I will be sharing.I have been experimenting and have finally got it looking like it came from the store.I will share my secrets with you.If you want to eat healthy on a budget it can be done but you must be willing to do some cooking from scratch. It leaves you with very satisfying feeling any way.The web page I am sending is an awesome website and reccomend you all get thei free newsletter. You will learn a lot. God bless and happy culturing.Just a tip make sure you put it in an airtight container.I learned the hard way.http://www.bodyecology.com/cveggies.php
