HEAT EXHAUSTION!

Today I wanted to write about  the subject of heat exhaustion since it is something that those of us living in the north don't always take as seriously. I know I didn't recently. My garden is a ways away from my house so usually when we drive over I pack a thermos of cooling herbal iced tea and some kind of healthy snacks. Well this day we had plans to go the zoo after we got home and I wanted to hurry so we could get back. When I am in hurry mode sometimes I work non-stop instead of listening to my body.
It was already beastly hot and humid when we got to the garden and we had stopped on the way to shovel up a carload of mulch first too. We just went right to work and two hours later I felt kind of dizzy so I told my husband I better stop .Usually we go inside and wash up ,get a drink and cool down a little before we head home. Not today, I had a one track mind, get home to the kids so we can take them to the zoo. I remember that I was actually losing my sense of thirst by now. My husband was drinking  a mountain dew but I hate the stuff and said I could wait till we got to a gas station and get some Gatorade or water.  The whole drive home I felt like I was being smothered and  and was very light headed . I also felt extremely hungry all of a sudden and my head hurt. By the time a gas station was on the scene I was to weak to go in and our house was a block away so we decided it was better to just go home.
When we got home my husband got me in the house ,and took me to the sink and started running cold water over my wrists and getting me to drink. I was shaking violently by now and hyperventilating. He started some cool bath water and I had him bring me some  honey and sea salt. I put a god pinch of the salt under my tongue and a teaspoon of honey in my mouth. My heart rate was out of control so I put motherwort  tincture under my tongue for that. It ended up taking two dropperfulls but within minutes I could feel it working. My husband got me in the tub and I had him bring me a potassium pill too. Normally I would have eaten a banana with peanut butter but we were out.  After a few minutes ,the shaking stopped and I could breathe normally. The rest of the day I was wiped out and focus on drinking nourishing and cooling herbal teas  and took licorice root to get my adrenals back to health.  I say this story even though I feel kind of embarrassed I wasn't more careful because I got to thinking about what if someone couldn't get to the hospital or get IV's.  There are things we want to make sure we always have on hand. For me these were the herbs I used to cool myself and support my adrenals afterward.
licorice root(boosts adrenals and gets some of those hormones back up)
elderflower or catnip(both are good for reducing heat in the body)
nettle (nourishing and boosts adrenal health)
oatstraw (calms and strengthens nervous system and nourishing)

During heat exhaustion some important tips.: call a doctor if you can or go the hospital, don't take chances. I was asking my husband to call 911 but he said to try the bath first and let my supplements kick in.(he trusted me more than I did at the time)
Get some sugar in your system, preferably a healthy source. Salt is important and so is a potassium source. Ideally bananas or orange juice would be better than pills. Never take potassium pills without medical approval. Get cooled down. Cold water over the wrist calms down adrenalin ,take a lukewarm bath if you can. NOT cold. It will shock your system and make you worse.
Dealing with shock and heart irregularities; motherwort tincture is very fast and effective. It is cheap and I carry it in my purse. It gets rid of panic attacks too. Also it strengthens the heart too.

Some final thoughts : over the next few days make sure to get lots of nourishing foods ,some extra protein and extra b-vitamins. Anytime your body goes in shock it pulls a lot out of you.
These are just my opinion and worked for me . I am not a doctor and am not accountable if something I wrote doesn't work for you. Do the research and be safe. God bless your day!

kombucha scoby's and probiotic frozen yogurt shake

Hi ,I hope this finds you well.We just celebrated Tinkebell's 10th birthday.I can't believe my baby is already 10.I am just so proud of my kids and how they are becoming their own people.
Today I wanted to share a little more on kombucha. Here is a little info on the actual beneficial bacteria and yeasts that are in it.Acetic acid, which is mildly antibacterial

Butyric acid

B-vitamins[7]

Ethyl alcohol

Gluconic acid

Lactic acid

Malic acid

Oxalic acid

Usnic acid

Ethyl alcohol is drinking alcohol, but normally kombucha contains less than 0.5% alcohol, which classifies kombucha as a non-alcoholic beverage.[8] Older, more acidic, kombucha might contain 1.0% or 1.5% alcohol, depending on more anaerobic brewing time and higher proportions of sugar and yeast. The mother ,which is also called scoby is a very high concentration of these probiotics and also b vitamins.Since they reproduce very rapidly and you have to change them out to keep it from making vinegar ,you can end up with a lot of extras.i didn't want to just throw them all out so decided to research to see  if they were nutritious. They were so I decided to experiment with them.I found that if blended in a smoothie it made it very creamy and thick with a mild yogurt taste. So now we use them in smoothies all the time.I also blend them in my cultured veggie brine and in recipes to give a little sourdough and leavening effect. Delicious healthy and free. Her is one of our favorite recipes:
Banana frozen yogurt
3 frozen bananas,3 cups almond or coconut milk,1 tsp vanilla, stevia to sweeten and 1 scoby(about a third cup) Blend till creamy. It is also good for a bedtime snack since it has a nice blend of carbs ,protein and tryptophan foods. Also easy to digest.Try it ,you just might like it.:)

Welcome back to MEEEE! and Kombucha

I have had a very long recess from blogging.Life has thrown a few curve balls  and I have not really had the time or motivation to write.I am still working on my studies so have learned massive amounts of info since the last time I posted. It is exciting and sometimes overwhelming. We have had many changes in our lives starting with moving. But we love our new area hand we are closer to My in-laws which has been a blessing too. We are also very close to our church now and we love that and the community. My daughter was diagnosed with a wheat /gluten allergy last year and the more we learned about it ,it seemed that the other two kids and I also had a lot of symptoms. We have gone gluten-free as a family and it has been a journey. After baking and cooking this way for a year now it no longer seems hard. There are so many yummy things that we have adapted to gluten-free (even doughnuts) that we do not feel deprived at all.Sure we can't go order pizza or eat most processed foods in the store but who wants that trash anyway? It has been a blessing in disguise. My son has completely recovered from tourettes and has very little focus issues anymore since changing his diet.It has helped me with my skin .I know longer get the breakouts .YAY! I willl be sharing gluten-free recipes as well raw recipes here.I eat about 80 to 85 % percent raw  and that leaves room for beans and a few things like that ,that are essential for our health.Unless you are very disciplined and get regular bloodwork done you can easily get deficiencies on an all raw diet and the Lord has led me to this balance .
Okay, now on to kombucha. There is a lot of controversies on it but I maintain that it is a healthy supplement to our diet when done correctly. Back to balance. We maintain alot of the Body Ecology principles that I learned earlier so try to keep my diet full of probiotic rich foods and drink. When a lot of good bacteria are in your gut it crowds out the bad things.Kombucha is one of those probiotic rich drinks. It is very cleansing to the liver so you need to start slowly. Also sip on it instead of drinking fast.We sip on it at meals or prior to help enhance the enzymatic activity for digestion.Fermenting things increases it's vitamin and mineral content tremendously and also makes b12  while helping our body systems make b12 as well. Many are deficient in this major vitamin.B12 can only be produced by bacteria.
We make our own kombucha as it is soooo much cheaper and tastier than store bought. Here is how:
Heat 1 gallon distilled water in a pan with one cup sugar.Once hot add 6 green tea bags and let steep till lukewarm.Pour this into a gallon glass jar and add 1 kombucha scoby(this is the mother)
Let this sit for a week to 2 weeks the first time. When it is fizzy and slightly sour it is ready.Your other batches will ferment faster so keep an eye on it.It will turn to vinegar if fermented to long and then I use it just like I would vinegar and also for baking.
So where can you get a scoby.Check online, or at raw food potlucks and with fellow healthnuts.Anyone that is making kombucha will practically beg someone to take some scoby's of their hands. They multiply like crazy. This brings me to the topic fro next time. What to do with all those scoby's? Got some great tips for you.I will also further elaborate on how to majorly increase the nutritional content of your kombucha. Have a great day!!

childrens health and kale chips

Hi there how are you all?Lots of changes going on here.We are moving at the end of the week for starters. Not far away though, but at least out of this neighborhood and school system. The kids have undergone so much stress in the schools over here.It is just more of a troubled neighborhood.Last post I mentioned a little about some of the challenges that we have been facing with Bubba and have had more tests done and a little more direction on what to do.God has been good at leading us to answers as the medical doctors said they cant help him because he has both tourettes syndrome and ADHD and the medicines for those are opposing. But that is the good thing about natural things. The natural medicines that help one condition also greatly help the other.God was so good when He created the plants and such for us to use for our health.Everything was created with balance and harmony in mind.If anyone else is struggling with some of these things than I hope my journey with my son can be an inspiration. The other thing that we found out is that he has a genetic iron deficiency which causes restless legs syndrome and also decrease his dopamine levels.Guess what low dopamine does?Causes hyperactivity,go figure.Anyway the first thing we did is get him on a chelated iron with vitamin c and herbal co factors for optimal absorption. Then we started pedi-active which is designed to build up the nuerotransmitters in the brain and helps control the tics and the adhd.We are also giving him the cultered vegetables and coconut water kefir, parsley and greens daily as these probiotic rich foods kill fungus ehich is a known cause of nuetrological problems in children. Also fermentation increases the mineral content and b-vitamins and b-12 in foods. The parsley and greens and greens are naturally high in iron.We are also growing and juicing wheat and buckwheat grasses. The kids love them in juice and I have so much more energy too.It has been two weeks and we are definately seeing improvements. No more vocal tics and the physical jerking and twitching is greatly reduced. The hyperactivity has gotten better as well.Sleep is very important so we were told to give him an herbal sleep blend with valerian and melatonin.Yes it is safe for kids. His stress is still pretty high so our naturopath recommende chamomile flower essence and rescue remedy bach flower essence. We still have to get that and if the pedi-active doesn't seem to be enough there is a wonderful product for panic attacks ,tourettes and hyperactivity called BRIGHT SPARK that I have had him tested for and tested great.I am very fortunate to have a machine where I can test everything against someone to see how good it would be for them and have also had acourse in kinesiology as well.I don't believe in guess work because everybody is different and what works for one may not for another.God has been guiding us in these fustrations and we feel we are on the right track.Anytime you are dealing with something chronic you have to take a holistic approach and treat the whole person.Diet is extremely important.Managing stress is very important as well,so we have been doing yoga and tai chi with the kids to help them focus and relax. It also teaches good breathing patterns as stress usually creates shallow breathing. We have been reading along with their bible story a chapter nightly out of Stormie Omartians book Power of a Praying kid,and teaching them to speak scripture over themselves. If kids can learn at a young age the power of Gods word as a means to fight off negativity and stresses the enemy sends our way,how much better their life will be.I wish I would have known those principals sooner as they were instramental in getting rid of my panic attacks.Better late than never. We are always going to be learning. Now for the kale and /or spinach chips. As I have said before we need more greens in our diet.Ideally we should be eating about 45% daily. What better way to get it than by a delicious chip. There are variations on how to make it but we like the cheesy ones. The cheese is actually nutritional yeast and you would be shocked at how like cheese it tastes not to mention it is loaded with b-vitamins and minerals,AND NO IT DOES NOT CAUSE CANDIDA.This kind of yeast is very good for us,even better than brewers yeast. Now for the recipe.
I take two heads of kale or two bags of spinach[if you are new to greens start with the
spinach]
put in a big mixing bowl and drizzle with olive oil,[they get crunchier if you use a little more olive oil]
sprinle with sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder,AND a few sprinles of vinegar
You can put a little soy sauce or tamari if you like and sprinle with the nutritional yeast.I go kind of heavy on that as it tastes sooo good. After it is thoroughly mixed and tastes good to you then put it in a food dehydator or you can put it on a cookie sheet and bake on the lowest setting.Let go till nice and crispy. These are a tasty and low cal way to get those chip cravings under control and kids love them.Hope you like it and God bless you all

My raw food journey and chocolate pudding recipe

Today I am going to share what I have been up too and the direction I have been feeling God leading me too.For the past two months I have been eating 80 % and more of raw foods and it is the best thing I ever did.My heavy periods are finally normalising and my gray hairs are disappearing .Even the minor wrinkles I had are starting to dissapate. And that is only two months.Don't get me wrong ,you do have some cleansing reactions going on and so keeping your colon going good is very important to keep the toxins out.Greens are by far the most important food as far as I and many others are concerned,so I like to make sure that each meal consists of greens in it.I still cheat and fall off the wagon but then I get right back on .Each time the food I used to eat is getting less satisfying and doesn't taste as good as I remember and it sure doesn't feel good on my cleaner digestive system. My hearing has improved dramatically as well as sense of taste and smell/I had to by organic makeup because I could smell all the chemicals in my other make-up.My husband after seeing the changes in me has quit drinking mountain dew and wants to start eating more raw foods. The kids have already been eating about 50 to 60 percent raw just because they eat alot of fresh fruits and vegetables and drink their green smoothies.Ultimately every person should be getting at least a pound of greens a day and kids half a pound. This is done very simply in smoothies, popsicles ,salads and lightly steamed. The dehydrator helps a lot in transition because you can make almost anything taste like cooked food in that and still have it be raw.I made a raw zucchini pasta with cashew alfredo and brazil nut parmesan that my family loved and I warmed it on the dehydrator.I wouldn't have believed it either if I hadn't tryed it.The reason I feel God led me to this is because I have been praying fo a ayear now for God to lead me to the healthiest way to eat so I can fully get my health back and get off my medications and also for my kids to overcome thir allergies and hyperactivity. Then out of the blue I start to hear about it everywhere I turned and every book I checked out of the library and I was getting all my info from christians too.It is not a matter of religion just how healthy do you want to be and how much do you have to overcome.I personally have a lot to recover from and know I need more extreme measures. We all need more raw foods then we get though regardless of who we are.I started small with a five day daniel fast, where you eat nothing but raw friuts and vegetables and felt so energetic and happy.Yes it is a powerful mood booster. After that I was like I want to keep feeling this way so I started researching it more and gradually changing my foods as I could handle it.The RAW DIVAS .com has an awesome fun website on how to start and provides free support and guidance.http://www.therawdivas.com/index.php We have also been sprouting everything and growing wheat grass.I will have futre post on sprouting and the benefits of the medicinal grasses and how cheap it is to grow yourself, not to mention easy.My ten year old does most of the sprouting thats how easy it is .The link I have provided will also give excellent guidance and is a very fun website. The recipe I have provided today is for pudding lovers so you don't feel deprived. It is amazing how much it tastes like real pudding and is so nutritious the kids could eat it for breakfast. It does take young coconuts which are the green or white ones and has a soft gel like meat.I get mine buy the case for adiscount at my local thai store. They are the best places to get your coconuts as they have much better prices. Now forthe pudding
1 cup of young coconut meat
1/2 to 3/4 cup of almond milk
1/2 cup soaked pitted dates
1/4 cup agave or raw honey[you can add more if you want it sweeter but stevia would be better, even natural sweets need to be kept in moderation]
blend till smooth and creamy and add 1 tbsp vanilla, then take half out and put 1/4 cup of carob or raw cacoa to the other half.layer in parfait dishes and add some sliced bananas and chopped nuts. This is so delicious you won't believe it.
If you don' want to use the coconut meat then check out my earlier posts on choclate pudding made with avacodo.I hope you enjoy this.I will keep you p[osted on my journey and my families. My son has been having some issues and we feel this what we need to do for him to really help.I will write more on that next time.Check out my links to learn more.God bless you.

LETS GO BANANAS

I personally just loove bananas and am so glad to find this info on all the health benefits of eating them.It also makes sense to me why I would have such intense cravings for bananas when I was feeling an anxiety attack coming on.In fact during my bad insomnia or anxiety spells if I ate 3 bananas it would relax me so much my panic would go away and I would sleep in about 15 min.I didn't know then but my body was craving the magnesium,b6,and tryptophan all in one amazing fruit. Now I still crave them during my cycle and come to find out they are a good source of iron as well. The potassium in them naturally gives you energy and helps steady heart rythmn.Believe me I know about heart rythmn problems from my panic days and bananas were certainly my friend. They also help protect our body from heat exhaustion, that is why they grow so abundantly in tropical areas. Not that we have to worry about heat right now lol.So any way I came across an article on raw divas .com and am going to paste it on here for you all to read as it is so interesting. What you waitin for?Go get a banana.haha.A professor at CCNY for a physiological psych class told his class about bananas. He said the expression “going bananas” is from the effects of bananas on the brain. After reading this, you’ll never look at a banana in the same way again.Bananas contain three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber. A banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy.
Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world’s leading athletes.
But energy isn’t the only way a banana can help us keep fit. It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet.
Depression: According to a recent survey undertaken by MIND amongst people suffering from depression, many felt much better after eating a banana. This is because bananas contain tryptophan, a type of protein that the body conv erts into serotonin, known tomake you relax, improve your mood and generally make you feel happier.
PMS: Forget the pills - eat a banana. The vitamin B6 it contains regulates blood glucose levels, which can affect your mood.
Anemia: High in iron, bananas can stimulate the production of hemoglobin in the blood and so helps in cases of anemia.
Blood Pressure: This unique tropical fruit is extremely high in potassium yet low in salt, making it perfect to beat blood pressure. So much so, the US Food and Drug Administration has just allowed the banana industry to make official claims for the fruit’s ability toreduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke.
Brain Power: 200 students at a Twickenham (Middlesex) school ( England ) were helped through their exams this year by eating bananas at breakfast, break, and lunch in a bid to boost their brain power. Research has shown that the potassium-packed fruit can assist learning by making pupils more alert.
Constipation: High in fiber, including bananas in the diet can help restore normal bowel action, helping to overcome the problem without resorting to laxatives.
Hangovers: One of the quickest ways of curing a hangover is to make a banana milkshake, sweetened with honey. The banana calms the stomach and, with the help of the honey, builds up depleted blood sugar levels, while the milk soothes and re-hydrates your system.
Heartburn: Bananas have a natural antacid effect in the body, so if you suffer from heartburn, try eating a banana for soothing relief.
Morning Sickness: Snacking on bananas between meals helps to keep blood sugar levels up and avoid morning sickness.
Mosquito bites: Before reaching for the insect bite cream, try rubbing the affected area with the inside of a banana skin. Many people find it amazingly successful at reducing swelling and irritation.
Nerves: Bananas are high in B vitamins that help calm the nervous system.
Overweight and at work? Studies at the Institute of Psychology in Austria found pressure at work leads to gorging on comfort food like chocolate and chips. Looking at 5,000 hospital patients, researchers found the most obese were more likely to be in high-pressure jobs. The report concluded that, to avoid panic-induced food cravings, we need to control our blood sugar levels by snacking on high carbohydrate foods every two hours to keep levels steady.
Ulcers: The banana is used as the dietary food against intestinal disorders because of its soft texture and smoothness. It is the only raw fruit that can be eaten without distress in over-chronicler cases. It also neutralizes over-acidity and reduces irritation by coating the lining of the stomach.
Temperature control: Many other cultures see bananas as a “cooling” fruit that can lower both the physical and emotional temperature of expectant mothers. In Thailand, for example, pregnant women eat bananas to ensure their baby is born with a cool temperature.
Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD): Bananas can help SAD sufferers because they contain the natural mood enhancer tryptophan.
Smoking & Tobacco Use: Bananas can also help people trying to give up smoking. The B6 and B12 they contain, as well as the potassium and magnesium found in them, help the body recover from the effects of nicotine withdrawal
Stress: Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain and regulates your body’s water balance. When we are stressed, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These can be rebalanced withthe help of a high-potassium banana snack.
Strokes: According to research in The New England Journal of Medicine, eating bananas as part of a regular diet can cut the risk of death by strokes by as much as 40%!
Warts: Those keen on natural alternatives swear that if you want to kill off a wart, take a piece of banana skin and place it on the wart, with the yellow side out. Carefully hold the skin in place with a plaster or surgical tape!
So, a banana really is a natural remedy for many ills. When you compare it to an apple, it has four times the protein, twice the carbohydrate, three times the phosphorus, five times the vitamin A and iron, and twice the other vitamins and minerals. It is also rich in potassium and is one of the best value foods around. So maybe its time to change that well-known phrase so that we say, “A banana a day keeps the doctor away!”
PS: Bananas must be the reason monkeys are so happy all the time! I will add one here; want a quick shine on our shoes?? Take the INSIDE of the banana skin, and rub directly on the shoe…polish with dry cloth.
BANANA ICE CREAM[this is so good]
IN A BLENDER PUT 1 CUP OF YOGURT AND 3/4 CUP OF YOUR FAVORITE JUICE OR MILK
PUREE AND ADD 4 FROZEN BANANAS IN CHUNKS GRADUALLY PULSING TILL CREAMY.YOU CAN ADD MORE LIQUID IF YOU WANT BUT YOU DON'T WANT IT TO THIN ,I ALSO USE YOUNG COCONUT MEAT INSTEAD OF YOGURT SOMETIMES TO MAKE IT TOTALLY DAIRY FREE AND THICK.
WE HAVE ALSO ADDED AFEW SOINACH LEAVES OR MINT LEAVES AND A FEW DROPS PEPPERMIN OIL AND SOME CAROB TO MAKE MINT CHOCLATE ICE CREAM TOP WITH YOUR FAVORITE TOPPINGS MY kids like it so much they would rather have this than regular ice cream and I would have to agree.Thank God for his greatness and giving us such wonderful gifts to enjoy and keep us healthy.God bless bananas

Homemade skin care and therapuetic baths plus an easy way to make your own nut butters

H i and how are you?Pretty good here.We have definately been going through a bit of stressors but I know God is faithful to supply all our needs. He can be trusted to be faithful and that is where my trust lies.I can't believe that we are halfway through the school year already .We are thinking of homeschooling next year because of some concerns we have but I am a little nervous about it too.If ther is anybody out there that has a good system I would love to hear from you.Well I am sure we are not the only ones having some financial issues right now so I thought today I would share some of the things that work for me to supplement a beauty routine that won't break the bank.Guess what? They actually work better than most of the expensive things I have used before.Sometimes I think God allows us to be broke so we learn to be creative with our recources and also more self-sufficient.I value all the things I have learned how to do due to necessity. It saves us a lot of money and is healthier for us not to mention better for the environmrent.God made us caretakers of the environment and unwittingly we have been letting Him down.It is time to be more concious of the way we live. Also we can leave a legacy for our children of having healthier lives and a cleaner world.Anyway here are a few reciopes I have ccome up with after reading up on natural skin treatments that really help me.One of the things I deal with is large pores,so I read that baking soda and also vinegar were good for that.I elaborated on the basics to also help with moisturizing the skin without causing acne and added a few balancing essential oils to the mix.My basic facial cleansing scrub recipe is
2 TBSP BAKING SODA,2 TBSP SUGAR[ANY KIND]and ENOUGH GLYCERINE OR HONEY TO MAKE A PASTE.I then add 4 drops tea tree oil[prevents acne]6 drops geranium oil,and 6 drops lavendar oil[these two are balancing for the skin]mix together and use a small bit to cleanse your skin once or twice a day.Even with out the oils it works great. For a follow up toner recipe I USE
EQUAL PARTS APPLE CIDER VINEGAR AND WITCH HAZEL OR ROSE WATER [you can add essential oils to this but it is really not necessary if you don't have them]
Now if it is evening you want a heavier moisturizer and coconut oil is very good as even oily skin does well with this.If your skin is really oily mix castor oil with it as that helps cut the oil while still moisterizing.I also use wheat germ oil sometimes as this is really high in vitamin E.During the day when you want something lighter just get one of those 96 cents vitamin E sticks and smooth that on in your dry areas. It works great and is cheap.I hope these suggestions help. Now for a few medicinal bath recipes.Do not combine any of these recipes.these arefor detoxing purposes as written by Anne Louise Gittleman.
FORMULA 1
To help detox from radiation exposure from exrays, air travel, etc,
Run a tub to the hottest water you can stand.Dissolve 1 poundof baking soda in water, and begin to soak.Sip a glass of warm water mixed with1/2 tsp sea salt and 1/2 tsp baking soda.Get out of the bath when the water is cool.Don't shower for at least4 hours.
FORMULA 2
To help detox from metal poisoning from aluminum cookware ,amalgams, antacids,or from carbon monoxide in heavy traffic and pesticides exposure
Run tub with hottest water you can stand.Pour 1 cup of clorox bleach[it has to be clorox ONLY] in the water and soak.Get out when water is cool.Don't shower for at least 4 hours.
FORMULA 3
To help detox from irradiated food andfoodborne bacteria, including salmonella and E coli
Run tub with water as hot as you can manage.Pour in 2 pounds of baking soda.Sip a glass of warm water mixed with 1/2 tsp of baking soda.Get out of bath when cool.
FORMULA 4[the last one]
To help build immunity by raising your body,s acidity which makes you less hospitable for bacteria and viruses, good for preventing illnesses
Run atub with hottest water you can stand.Pour in 2 cups apple cider vinegar.Sip a glass of warm water mixed with1 tbsp organic apple cider vinegar.Get out of the bath when cool
Well these are just a few of the ways we can detox and be healthy using very inexopensive things.God gave us every thing in nature to be well.Last but not least I want to share a technique I came across for making nut butters easily if you don't have a high powered blender. You will need a coffee grinder though but you can get those for like 10 bucks.First grind your nuts to a powder in the coffee grinder and then put in your blender .Add either safflower oil, grapeseed oil or warm coconut oil and a little honey or agave nectar.I doesn't take much. Then simply pulse till it gets creamy. You can even add some flaxmeal to your nut butter to add some extra benefits to it.Sunflower seeds are good in as a nut butter and are inexpensive and highly nutritious and don't contain fungus like peanuts.Cashews are a good choice for mood because they contain good amounts of tryptophan and almond are a powerhouse of magesium and are also a good relaxer.I NUT BUTTER TRUFFLES OUT OF THESE AND GIVE THE KIDS A FEW BEFORE BED TO HELP THEM SLEEP AND KEEP THEIR BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS STEADY. I hope you have enjoyed these suggestions and that you can feel hopeful that even if money is tight you can still stay beautiful and healthy.I will have more posts like this in the near future as I feel in todays economy we need to be as self sufficient as possible.God bless
