All in a days work

Today has been one of those days.Ironically I seem to have more of those when I am PMSing if you know what I mean.My husband has been working a lot this week and we only have one car right now so me and the kids have been getting a little stir crazy and with kids that is never a good thing.Tinkerbell has suffered as a result of their boredom.First they decided to bounce wooden blocks off the trampoline to see whos goes higher. At the same time I hear her and bubba both screaming and went to investigate and he had gotten bonked in the head and she in the lip.Because she had stitches there before it got cut pretty good.So I talked to them about the dangers of playing recklessly and things calmed down. You would think they learn, but of course not.I tell them to get dressed for a walk,s they love those and I thoght it would get them out of the house. To make it more special we would stop at the dollar store and they could each pick out a toy. They were excited ,and then they start running throgh the house.I had just stepped out of the room when I hear screaming.LOUD screaming.I rush out to see what had happened and tinkerbell has her tongue hanging out and bleeding.I am officially freaking out,as I rush to put a cool cloth on it and see that she has bitten her lip badly. Her and her brother had a collision as they were joyously bounding through the house. So after some doctoring and disciplining Bubba for being reckless and getting the 30 minutes of tears under control we went on our walk. After all we needed orajel and tylenol now. They all came back in much better spirits and I felt calmer too.But I didn't feel like cooking so brought back fish sticks. You know I am stressed when we eat junk food, but hey at least I didn't buy the oreos Iwas looking at.does anyone else have these days?Well so as not to just be having a whiny session I DO HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS too.My cat had kittens and I got a few pictures to share and will send more as they grow. Also I will post pictures of my beloved chihuahu and himalayan cat.Hope you like them.On a health note I always have arnica on hand and rescue remedy for when there is any kind of injury or emotional stress .Arnica is wonderful for phsical healing from injuries and helps prevent concussions .The rescue remedy helps with any kind of emotional stress or physical trauma in recovering quicker and preventing shock. It helped bubba when he had seizures and got tinkerbell through all her injuries.I myself have used rescue remedy many times to snap me out of a panic attack. No ones purse should be without these too.

gluten-free recipes and grain free

I was looking around for good nut yogurt recipes and came across this website that has some of the best recipes I've ever seen for a gluten-free or grain-free diet.It ws designed to get rid of fungus and help with autism but I know that we can benefit from this than just autism.I think it wold help with candida ,blood sugar and hyperactivity as well. The recipes are awesome and I can't wait to start doing it for my family.I have been trying to get away with as little grains as possible because they cause such fungus and food allergy problems.I will also send a link to a place you can order a lot of these health foods at a really affordable price. If we don't stay on a b
udget we will quit trying to eat healthy and it is just to important.http://www.pecanbread.com/

healthy no-bake cookies and letting your inner child out

Hi there ,HOW ARE YOU ALL?iAM DOING GREAT.Something the Lord has helped me with is how to be a kid[now that i am in my 30s],but I have found it to be so stress relieving. As a child I could never be a child ,we had 8 kids and I was the oldest and we left the amish church, which left us alone and without support. So my sister and I HAD TO CARRY AN ADULT LOAD.IWORKED HARDER WHEN Iwas a child then I do now and I AM A BUSY mother of three.A T 26 IDELEVOPED PANIC DISORDER,WHICH IS ONE OF THOSE THAT HAPPENS TO THOSE WHO NEVER RELAX AND HAVE FUN.AFTER A5 YEAR BATTLE WITH THAT[WHICH i WILL TALK MORE ABOUT LATER FOR THOSE WHO ARE SUFFERING AS WELL]God finally braught me to a place of utter trust in Him.Believe me it's a lot more relaxing trusting God then being afraid. But there was still something missing, I found myself being drawn to the park and felt a need to play right along with my kids. Now that is relaxing and good exercise too.I know it may seem corny but I really feel that those of us who have not had a chance to be children need to experience that to have true healing.I dare you to let your inner child out.I am even sending a picture to motivate you.You can't look sillier than me.

Now about the cookies, you will dicover that my real identity is cookie monster.I love cookies and last night I was having a craving for no-bake cookies but didn't want all the sugar and the sugar rush that goes with it,so I came up with these,

1/2 cup coconut oil

1/2 cup honey

3/4 cup xylitol[you can use another1/2 cup honey if you don't have this, but it won't be low glycemic]

3or 4 tbsps whey protein powder

1/3 cup water

1/3 cup cocoa

3squares bittersweet baking chocalate

melt all these together in a saucepan leaving the powder to add last

simmer till bubbly[be careful not to burn]

pour over 2 and1/2 cups to three cups of oatmeal

add 1/3 cup peanut butter[preferably natural]

stir all together quickly and scoop out on a plate with a teaspoon

it will get stiff if you don't work quickly because of the protein powder

These cookies are delicious and really conquors those chocalate cravings without ruining your good intentions

I am very excited today as I have been trying out recipes and have created a successful gingerbread cutout cookie recipe, that is entirely gluten-free.That is no easy task.My kids are not celiac but are gluten sensitive so they need to be very limited in their gluten intake so my goal is to make snacks that they can eat that dont fall apart as is the case with gluten-free flour. After researching ingredients in commercial gluten-free products[which cost a fortune] I have managed to do it.Their are a few ingredients that you must have to make it work.Tapioca starch or flour, xanthan gum, arrowroot or cornstarch. You will want to switch off which ones you use so as not to get sensitive to anything. the xanthan gum is your alternative to gluten and you cant hardly bake anything without it.It is a very important ingredient. The starches act as binders and keep your things from crumbling. Also by using aluminum-free baking powder you eliminate your need for eggs. Now for the recipe:
GLUTEN-FREE GINGERBREAD MEN
1 AND AHALF CUP BROWN RICE FLOUR,HALF CUP OF ALMOND MEAL [OR BROWN RICE FLOUR]
1 AND A HALF CUP TAPIOCA FLOUR
1TBSP ALUMINUM-FREE BAKING POWDER
4 TSP GINGER
2 TSP CINNAMON
1/2 TSP NUTMEG
1/2 TSP CLOVES
1/2 TSP SEA SALT
1/2 CUP VEG OIL
3/4 CUP MAPLE SYRUP
1/2 CUP MOLASSES
1/3 CUP ROMA OR INSTANT COFFEE
DECORATE W/DRIED FRUIT
MIX DRY INGRED IN ONE BOWL AND WET IN ANOTHER PLUS THE ROMA TO DISSOLVE
ADD WET TO DRY AND SHAPE IN TO A BALL
PLACE ON WAX PAPER WITH CORNSTARCH AND ORGANIC SUGAR OR XYLITOL CRYSTALS ,GENTLY ROLL OUT KEEPING THINGS FLOURED WITH THE CORNSTARCH TO KEEP IT FROM STICKING ,ENJOY THEY ARE ALITTLE CRUNCHIER THAN NORMAL BECAUSE OF THE RICE FLOUR,ALSO GREASE YOUR COOKIE SHEET.IF YOU WANT FROSTING THEN BLEND 1 CUP OF TOFU IN A BLENDER W/1/2 CUP MAPLE SYRUP AND VANILLA ,A LITTLE VANILLA PROTEIN POWDER THICKENS IT, DELICIOUS
